I had lost my wife over 5 years ago to breast cancer and had been raising my son on my own until this past year when I met an amazing woman to be my girlfriend and be motherly figure to our 7 year old son. This transition has been challenging at times for her but she has done amazing job and I like to think she was hand picked from above to not replace but to enhance my son and myself life. I cannot forget our other family members, we have a Boxer and a Beagle, they keep us in shape because we have to get them out for vigorous canyon trail runs.
